| Qualifications | Education: A Bachelor’s degree Credential: An appropriate, valid, California State Administrative and Teaching/Special Education Credential Experience: Leadership experience demonstrating readiness for site responsibility This position is .8 FTE certificated management and .2 FTE certificated with 203 duty days. The Director of Student Services combines the administrative position of Assistant Principal (AP), with a Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) position to provide extra support to our Resource Specialist Program (RSP). This position is .8 FTE certificated management and .2 FTE certificated. The job descriptions and salary schedules are attached. The Assistant Principal will assist the Superintendent/Principal as the educational leader of the Freshwater School District (FSD) and is responsible for performing all duties related to the direction and effectiveness of the overall school program. The Assistant Principal understands and supports the school as an integral part of the community and uses a broad range of skills including those related to human relations as well as effectively conducting and supporting the activities of the school. The Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) at Freshwater School District will support the Resource Specialist Program (RSP). The TOSA will work as a site based leader to directly support the needs of our RSP. The successful candidate will be required to pass a fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and show proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
