Qualifications Qualifications
Per California Department of Education Prop 28 guidelines, all arts instruction staff must:
Hold a valid California teaching credential.
Be certificated to teach in one or more of the following disciplines: music, visual arts, theater, or dance.
Demonstrate knowledge of the California Arts Standards for Public Schools.
Be employed by the LEA or contracted under district oversight.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience teaching elementary-aged students.
Strong classroom management and collaboration skills.
Commitment to culturally responsive and student-centered instruction.

The successful candidate will be required to pass a fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and show proof of eligibility to work in the United States
