Salary $18.12-$21.01/Hr. DOE
Qualifications Requires High School graduation & passage of the Paraprofessional Exam or 48 College Semester Units. One year successful experience as a classroom instructional assistant or experience working with students with special needs. Knowledge of sign system required by student, methods and techniques used in communication with deaf and hard of hearing children, technical signs and/or vocabulary used in classes to which assigned, and Code of Ethics prepared by the Registry of Interpreters of the Deaf. If applicant holds a Certificate of Interpretation (CI), higher pay scale available.

The successful candidate will be required to pass a fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and show proof of eligibility to work in the United States
