Qualifications A Bachelors's degree, including all courses needed to meet and maintain credential requirements. An appropriate, valid, California State Single Subject (Physical Education) Teaching Credential or Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential and willing to get an authorization for Physical Education. A minimum of the completion of all student teaching is required for the appropriate teaching credential. Appearance, grooming, and personality that establish a positive example for students. Better than average recommendations from student teaching supervisors or other professionals who have observed the teacher's personal characteristics, scholastic achievement, and classroom performance. The PE/Health teacher provides an educational and physical fitness program for students in multiple grades with an emphasis in 4th-8th grades or a combination thereof, and assists in other school programs as assigned.

The successful candidate will be required to pass a fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and show proof of eligibility to work in the United States
