| Qualifications | The FSD Wellness Coach will offer core prevention and intervention services that promote behavioral health and well-being in a supportive role with TK-8 students, families, and staff as part of the FSD Team. The ideal candidate will have skills in SEL instruction and restorative practices to support elementary school students. Responsibilities include supporting classroom and school-wide SEL, and providing individualized wellness check-ins to support student regulation and school success. Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited California college or university. Majors accepted include social work, human services, addiction studies, psychology, and child development. Must meet minimum time requirements for related field experience and receive certification as a registered wellness coach through HCAI. Prior work experience providing direct behavioral health services to students in a school setting, non-profit, community organization, and/or health center/clinic within the last six years. The successful candidate will be required to pass a fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and show proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
