Classified Vacancy Library Technician: Between 28-34 hours per week The library program is an integral part of teaching and learning at Pacific Union School. Accessing information has become an increasingly complex process requiring the library technician to work in partnership with classroom teachers. The position requires not only performing library technical and clerical duties related to ordering, receipt, processing and circulation of books and periodicals, but also technology skills in accessing, screening, and integrating information from various resources. The library technician is the liaison between the school and parent/guardian volunteers and the community in library matters. This position is under the supervision of administration.

Qualifications	Minimum Qualifications: • At least 2 years of College Experience (Associates Degree) • At least 2 years of experience working with children and/or in a library setting • Ability to navigate technology, library systems, and stay current policies and procedures • Ability to collaborate and work with volunteers, staff, students, and community members • Ability to multi-task and maintain an organized schedule and working environment Applications will only be accepted that are delivered in person or received by mail at 3001 Janes Road Arcata, CA 95521.
