Ferndale Unified School District seeks an enthusiastic and engaging agriculture teacher to join our already established three-person department. Ferndale is a small agriculture-based community with a population of approximately 500 students between K-12th Grade. Our agriculture program consists of three high school teachers, and we look forward to adding a new position at the junior high. This full-time position is focused on teaching Agriscience courses within the pathway series based on NGSS & CASE curriculum. This position will also receive an extended contract for a time supporting SAE and CDE projects outside the classroom. We seek a dynamic individual to help build relationships and connections with students as our program grows.

Department of Justice fingerprint clearance must be completed before the first day of employment for $62 the employee.

The successful candidate will be required to pass a fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and show proof of eligibility to work in the United States
