| Qualifications | Kneeland School is a small, rural school district atop the mountain between Arcata and Eureka. We are looking for a skilled, dedicated teacher for our TK-2nd grade class -- currently fewer than 10 students in the class. Early Education units required. If the candidate does not have the necessary Early Education Units, successful candidate must be willing to acquire the units. The position offered is listed as .85 to 1.0 FTE depending on the needs and availability of the successful candidate. We are a tiny, rural school with an exceptional team of dedicated educators. Our class size is small, and we are dedicated to providing a robust educational program with enriching opportunities to participate in life lesson learning and hands-on experiences often utilizing resources in our community through field trips and unit studies. We are seeking a TK-2 grade teacher who is eager to bring positivity to our school with the flexibility to take advantage of the plethora of educational opportunities our unique location provides. The successful candidate will be required to pass a fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and show proof of eligibility to work in the United States |
