| Qualifications | Minimum Required: *Appropriate credential needed upon hire. -Masters Degree with an emphasis in speech, language and hearing. -One of the following three options: **A valid California Speech Language Pathology Services Teaching Credential authorizing Speech, Language and Hearing OR a Clinical or Rehabilitation Services Credential with Speech, Language and Hearing authorization. **Department of Consumer Affairs Speech Language Pathologist License from the Speech Language Pathology, Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board. **Have and maintain ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), at least 9 months of full-time experience as an SLP after being awarded the CCC-SLP AND meet professional development requirements related to supervision of CCC-SLP certification. Preferred: -Experience supervising and mentoring Speech Language Pathology Assistants and Speech Language Pathology graduate students. *At this stage, unofficial transcripts are acceptable. If offered the position, official transcripts will be required for placement. The successful candidate will be required to pass a fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and show proof of eligibility to work in the United States |
