Qualifications | Master’s or Doctorate Degree in School Psychology prior to the first day of employment. Hold a valid California Pupil Personnel Services credential. Competence in communicating effectively with children and parents, staff members and representatives of other agencies. Ability to work independently and efficiently Prior experience working in schools as a school psychologist preferred. Ability to effectively navigate the school setting, regular operations, and technology, collaborate with school staff, and follow school policies, procedures, and educational laws and ethics. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, and follow all HIPPA and FERPA regulations. Must be fingerprinted and a satisfactory Department of Justice records check must be received by Alder Grove prior to employment. TB testing and/or risk assessment will be required upon employment. *Unofficial transcripts are acceptable at this stage. If offered the position, official transcripts will be necessary.
