| Qualifications | We are seeking a fabulous grades teacher to join our middle school loop group. This position could start immediately as a team teaching assignment, or begin in the 26/27 school year. Our dynamic middle school team is collaborative and motivated to bring out the best in our students. We would like our new teacher to have a Waldorf background and/or a willingness to attend additional training, with a dedication to bringing the arts and strong academics, to the students through daily and weekly rhythms. We have a record of strong academic achievement. We have a dedicated middle school math teacher along with P.E., practical arts, music and Spanish as extra subjects. A conscientious, warm, and motivated team player, with a growth mindset, strong academic record, excellent classroom management, an interest in equity work, and a dedication to working out of public Waldorf principles would be the best fit. A willingness to lead classes on overnight school trips is required. We offer STRS retirement, and health care including dental and vision benefits. Must possess a California Teaching Credential. The successful candidate will be required to pass a fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and show proof of eligibility to work in the United States |
