Qualifications | Education and Experience Minimum Required: *Appropriate credential need upon hire Masters Degree with an emphasis in speech, language and hearing. One of the following three options: 1. A valid California Speech Language Pathology Services Teaching Credential authorizing Speech, Language and Hearing OR a Clinical or Rehabilitation Services Credential with Speech, Language and Hearing authorization. 2. Department of Consumer Affairs Speech Language Pathologist License from the Speech Language Pathology, Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board. 3. Have and maintain ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), at least 9 months of full-time experience as an SLP after being awarded the CCC-SLP AND meet professional development requirements related to supervision of CCC-SLP certification. Preferred: Experience supervising and mentoring Speech Language Pathology Assistants and Speech Language Pathology graduate students. The successful candidate will be required to pass a fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and show proof of eligibility to work in the United States |
