| Qualifications | Position Overview: Fortuna High School District is looking for a qualified intern to fill the position of a school psychologist. The ideal candidate should be enrolled in an accredited school psychology internship program and should have an internship credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. In addition, the candidate should have completed training in assessment methods such as cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessment, consultation, as well as systems-wide supports. It is important that the candidate has knowledge of federal and state laws, codes, regulations, and requirements pertaining to special education. The applicant should have good communication skills both orally and in writing, and be flexible, organized, and reliable. Minimum Qualifications: • Prior to employment must complete DOJ fingerprinting • Proof of tuberculosis (TB) test clearance. The successful candidate will be required to pass a fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and show proof of eligibility to work in the United States |
