| Qualifications | Under the general direction of the Superintendent, the Director of Student Services is responsible for providing leadership, communication, and support to administrative site personnel in the operation and compliance of Special Education programs and services in conformance with District and State objectives. This position also oversees compliance with Section 504, Differentiated Assistance, and professional development for staff. The Director communicates with staff, the public, and other districts; ensures compliance with district, state, and federal regulations; and serves as a resource to school personnel, the Board, and other districts. The successful candidate will be required to pass a fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and show proof of eligibility to work in the United States |
