| Qualifications | The ideal candidate will hold a California teaching credential, have a current negative TB test, and successfully pass fingerprinting and a criminal background check. They will wholeheartedly support Redwood Preparatory's mission, vision, and educational program, demonstrating a proven ability to work with our target student population and a strong commitment to their success and learning outcomes. They will possess a solid understanding of and experience in implementing standards-based instruction, with preferred experience and knowledge teaching foundational reading skills. The candidate will reflect on their teaching practice, utilize assessment data to adapt their instruction to meet student needs, and demonstrate the ability to collaborate as part of a learning community and support our school culture. Commitment to all mandatory professional development. Strong organizational, time management, written, and oral communication skills are necessary, along with a willingness to regularly communicate with families and school staff about student progress. The successful candidate will be required to pass a fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and show proof of eligibility to work in the United States |
