Classified Vacancy Community School Coordinator: Northern United -Humboldt Charter is looking for a dedicated staff member to coordinate and support programs that address the learning barriers for students. This position will require travel to various let address the learning barriers for students. In partnership with the school director and regional director, the Community School Coordinator will develop a system of support for students, families, and community members. The Community School Coordinator will also work directly with students providing social and emotional support. Additionally, the Community School Coordinator is responsible for implementing systems, procedures, and policies; monitoring and implementing projects. The position will require travel to learning centers throughout the county.

Salary	$53,500-65,500
Qualifications	Any combination of education and experience that would be likely to provide the required knowledge and abilities would be qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: Three years of employment in the field of teaching or school counseling working with school-age children. A Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, or a related field from an institution of higher learning accredited by one of the six regional accreditation associations as recognized by the Council on Postsecondary Accreditation. Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPS) school counseling is preferred The successful candidate will be required to pass a fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and show proof of eligibility to work in the United States
