Salary Placement on the Certificated Salary Schedule based on years of experience and professional training (up to Step 10). A stipend of $1000 for Master’s Degree.

Qualifications Applicants must possess and maintain a valid California Single Subject credential, or supplemental Social Science credential. Eligibility for NCLB Certificate of Compliance and certification to instruct English language learner students required. Experience working in a middle school setting preferred. Spanish fluency desirable.

Department of Justice fingerprint clearance must be completed prior to the first day of employment at a cost of $62 to the employee.

The successful candidate will be required to pass a fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and show proof of eligibility to work in the United States
