| Qualifications | Minimum required - High School Diploma or the equivalent (GED); AA degree, 48 college units*, OR passed Para-educator exam. Preferred Experience - Minimum of 1 year of experience working with students who have significant needs is desirable. Ability to speak a second language (Spanish, Sign Language, Hmong highly desirable). *At this stage, unofficial transcripts are acceptable. If offered the position, official transcripts will be required for placement. Applicants that have a degree should also submit their transcripts. The successful candidate will be required to pass a fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and show proof of eligibility to work in the United States |
