| Qualifications | 1. Valid California Teaching Credential. 2. Elementary classroom teaching experience. 3. Demonstrated experience, understanding, and knowledge of Yurok culture and history. 4. A minimum of five years' successful experience working with, Native American Elders, Parents and Community members. 5. Ability to foster appreciation for multicultural education. 6. Active participation in American Indian communities and culture. 7. Evidence of excellent rapport with American Indian students and communities. 8. Demonstrated ability to create innovative learning opportunities. The successful candidate will be required to pass a fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and show proof of eligibility to work in the United States |
