Qualifications Food Preparation & Service
Meal Prep: Assist the head cook in washing, chopping, slicing, or portioning food items.
Serving: Serve food to students and staff in standardized portions that meet mandated nutritional guidelines.
Line Setup: Arrange serving trays, condiments, and utensils, and keep the food lines well-stocked
Sanitation & Safety
Cleaning: Wash and sanitize dishes, kitchen utensils, pots, and food preparation equipment.
Facility Maintenance: Clean dining tables, sweep or mop floors, and wipe down serving counters.
Food Safety: Follow strict health codes, such as maintaining safe food temperatures and avoiding cross-contamination.
Inventory & Stock
Receiving Deliveries: Unpack grocery orders, verify quantities, and safely store food in freezers, refrigerators, and pantries.
Restocking: Keep milk coolers, snack stations, and condiment bars stocked throughout the lunch shifts.


Requirements: 1) Current Safe-Serve Management Certification, 2) Department of Justice Screening, 3) Possess a valid California driver's license, 4) TB Test, 5) Willingness to complete First Aid and CPR certification training, 6) Mandated Reporter Training.

The successful candidate will be required to pass a fingerprint clearance with the Department of Justice and show proof of eligibility to work in the United States
