A Minimum of two years of College Education required. AA Degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Must have a valid California Driver’s License, as well as, the ability to spell and use correct grammar; ability to follow oral and written directions, and type. Must have familiarity with the cultures and traditions of the Native American tribes of Northwest California. Needs a strong understanding of and experience working with American Indian students and communities including demonstrated abilities working with or advising American Indian students. Department of Justice fingerprint clearance must be completed prior to the first day of employment at a cost of $62 to the employee. Individuals who serve in the advertised position are required to participate in an annual mandated reporter training program.
