Qualifications:
This position requires a CA School Nurse service credential, but FESD will train and support the right candidate to work towards that requirement while they are employed. The minimum requirements to start this process are a valid CA RN license and a BA/BS degree. The successful candidate must apply for a Preliminary School Nurse service credential upon hire and within 5 years of hire must have attended a Commission-approved school nurse program in order to be recommended for a clear School Nurse service credential. Valid CDL also required.
