| Qualifications: Reporting to the College and Career Coordinator and School Director, support specialists will collaborate with school personnel at AGCS to meet grant objectives of the Strong Workforce program. Specialists support 7th-12th grade students and provide students with information, support, and services regarding financial aid, scholarships, and college awareness. Specialists may also provide targeted academic support to help students increase their CSU/UC eligibility. Specialists assist with coordinating college and career events. Emphasis will be placed on gathering and input of necessary grant reporting data, including student surveys, communication of engagement opportunities, supporting high school programs, and developing marketing materials. While the continuation of this position is foreseen for years to come, this position is contingent on continued grant funding. |
